WHY CLIENTS BOOK ME

Why clients hire me directly

A few reasons families, couples and event hosts book me directly.

One person, start to finish

The photographer in my portfolio is the one who shows up, shoots and edits your photos. You message me, you meet me, and your gallery comes from me.

Cultural fluency across rituals

Years of shooting Indian, Arab and multicultural family events mean I know which moments of each ritual matter most, and I follow the family's lead.

A female photographer in the room

Henna nights, women-only ceremonies, Arab family events and modest maternity shoots: spaces where guests feel more at ease with a woman behind the camera.

Wherever you'd like to shoot

Burj Khalifa, the beach, old Dubai, the dunes, your villa or a venue – I shoot all over Dubai and happily travel across the UAE. After 15+ years here, I know the light and the timing.

A same-day reply on WhatsApp, and a clear delivery timeline when we book.

WHERE I SHOOT

The Dubai spots I know best

Tell me your vibe – bright and beachy, dramatic at sunset or candid at home – and I'll suggest the spot. I shoot anywhere in Dubai and happily travel across the UAE.

Couple kissing in front of Ain Dubai at twilight
Woman in red leading the way over golden desert dunes

Burj Khalifa & old Dubai

The skyline from the Downtown promenades, then the souks and lanes of Al Fahidi for character.

The coast

The Marina and JBR at golden hour, Madinat with the Burj Al Arab behind you, Bluewaters and Ain Dubai at twilight.

Desert dunes & beyond

The Lehbab dunes when you want drama, plus Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah when the shoot calls for it.

BEFORE YOU BOOK

Common questions before booking

The questions I'm asked most before a booking. Tap “Read more” to open an answer. Don't see yours? Ask me directly on WhatsApp.

How much does a freelance photographer cost in Dubai?

It depends on four things: how many hours, how many locations, how many people and how much editing you'd like. A short portrait session and a full event are very different jobs, so I don't publish a rate card. WhatsApp me your date and your plan and I'll send a clear quote the same day.

How do I hire a freelance photographer in Dubai?

WhatsApp me on +971 52 233 1174 with your date, location and the kind of session you have in mind. Then we have a quick call or a few voice notes to agree the style, I send your quote and hold the date, we do the shoot, and your edited gallery arrives by download link.

Can I hire a personal photographer in Dubai while I'm visiting?

Yes. Many of my clients are visitors: families on holiday, couples and people celebrating a milestone trip. Send me your dates and hotel area on WhatsApp and I'll plan the spot and the light around your plans.

Should I book a photographer in Dubai through a booking platform or directly?

Both work. A platform matches you with a photographer from its list, on its own booking terms. When you book me directly, you plan the shoot on WhatsApp with the person who photographs you and edits your gallery, and your quote is built around your plans: the hours, the spots, the people and the editing.

Which sessions do you cover?

Family and lifestyle, maternity and baby showers, pre-wedding and couples, weddings, corporate events, ladies-only events, holiday and tourist shoots, and Indian and cultural events. After 15+ years in Dubai, these are where I spend most of my time. Real estate, food and architecture aren't my focus, and I'm happy to point you to a specialist.

Do you do family photoshoots in Dubai?

Yes. As a family and lifestyle photographer in Dubai I photograph families who live here, multi-generation families, kids and pets, at home, on the beach or in old Dubai, and families on holiday too. Tell me who's coming and where you'd like to shoot, and I'll suggest the spot and the light.

Can I hire a female photographer in Dubai?

Yes. I'm a female freelance photographer, regularly booked for henna nights, women-only ceremonies, baby showers, modest maternity sessions and Arab family events where a woman behind the camera is preferred. October to April is peak season, and those slots fill first.

How quickly do you deliver the edited photos?

Turnaround depends on shoot size and how much editing is involved. For most sessions I deliver in around 1–2 weeks, by download link. Bigger shoots with lots of edits take a bit longer, weddings around 4–6 weeks, and I'll give you a clear timeline when we book.

Which areas of Dubai and the UAE do you cover?

All of Dubai: the Marina, JBR, Bluewaters, Palm Jumeirah, Downtown and the Burj Khalifa, old Dubai (Al Fahidi, Al Seef), Madinat Jumeirah, Business Bay, DIFC and the Lehbab desert. I also happily travel across the UAE, to Abu Dhabi (Saadiyat, Yas, the Corniche), Sharjah and the Northern Emirates. Tell me where you're thinking and I'll let you know.

Can I see a portfolio in my category before booking?

Yes. With your quote I send a recent gallery in your category: family, maternity, pre-wedding, corporate event, ladies-only or holiday. What works for one type of session is very different from another, so I keep them separate. Just ask in your first WhatsApp message.

How far in advance should I book?

For portraits and family sessions, one to two weeks ahead is comfortable. For larger events, a few months ahead. Last-minute slots are common in the quieter months, May to September. October to April is peak season, when my calendar fills first, so the earlier the better.

Can we do a family photoshoot in Dubai with young kids or toddlers?

Yes, toddlers and young kids are very welcome. A family photoshoot with young kids works best short and playful, so I plan it around nap times, suggest the spot and the light, and work at their height and stay patient while they play. Nobody needs to know how to pose, and I'll send you a short list of what to bring for the kids. One client, ankit shrivastava, wrote on Google that I was "adjusting with my 4 year old daughter all the time" during their maternity shoot.

Can I hire a freelance photographer in Dubai for a family holiday?

Yes. Families on holiday book me so that everyone is in the photos for once, kids included, with Dubai behind you: the Burj Khalifa, the beach, old Dubai or the desert. Send me your dates and your hotel area on WhatsApp, and I'll suggest the spot and the light, planned around nap times and pool days. As a freelance photographer in Dubai, I'm the person you plan with, the one who photographs your family and the one who edits your gallery, which arrives by download link in around 1–2 weeks. After a family shoot in the desert on a first trip to Dubai, Elsa Chan wrote on Google: "I would have miss my beautiful sunset pictures if i follow my own calculations."

Still wondering about something?

A BIT MORE ABOUT WORKING WITH ME

How freelance actually works for a Dubai photoshoot

When you hire me, you work with me directly. The same person you message on WhatsApp shows up, shoots, edits and sends back your gallery. Families, maternity, pre-wedding couples, corporate events, ladies-only gatherings and holiday shoots: I've photographed them all over Dubai for 15+ years, from the Burj Khalifa promenade to the Lehbab dunes.

You don't need to know how to pose. Bring a date, a place and an idea of what you'd like to remember, and I'll take care of the light, the angles and the timing. I shoot anywhere in Dubai and happily travel across the UAE when a shoot calls for it. Tell me about your shoot on WhatsApp.
